For those puppy buyers needing to stay overnight...

Old Port hotel:
Portland Regency Hotel & Spa, Portland, ME (pets???) 207-774-4200. They also have a massage therapist. It's in the heart of Portland. Right in the middle of the tourist district of cobblestone streets, designer boutiques, artists, jewelers (Stonehome Antiques is my favorite jewelry store for estate jewelry), pottery/blown glass (Edgecomb Potters is exquisite featuring several artists in glass, metal, pottery), all located on Exchange Street, one block from hotel. Commercial Street runs parallel to the ocean with many stores/restaurants. Best 5 Star restaurant is "Fore Street Restaurant" located on Fore Street/Franklin Artillery. Caso Bay Lines offers island tours on several boats. Gilberts Restaurant is a local fishermen's restaurant but voted for the best Chowder in Maine, along with clam cakes (Commercial Street). They have a terrific seafood chowder that's served in a bread bowl. 15 minutes from my house.

Help cure breast cancer one pink tulip at a time!

We are creating a pink tulip garden on the corner of Main Street and Tuttle Road filled with 1000 pink tulip bulbs. Help us beautify our community and raise breast cancer awareness. Your donation to our pink tulip garden will help honor friends while fighting cancer. You can make your donation in honor or in memory of a friend or loved one. Funds raised will beneifit the Women's Cancer Fund at Maine Cancer Foundation and help support cancer research and patients programs here in Maine. 100% of these funds stay in Maine.
