Tilly is the one and only puppy of Amber
and CH Tricon’s Texas Star at Wexford, “Dallas”.
She is a lush, dark golden in color. Tilly loves the
waters of the Royal River and regardless of the time
of year, will often be mucking around the water turning
over rocks, chasing frogs and bugs in the spring.
She is obedience trained and has an intense focus
on anything that moves, including shadows. She loves
to go to the vets because they have a huge fish tank.
She is mesmerized by the fish...and wants to eat them
so bad...just like her mother, Amber.
Tilly's offspring are Taima,
Sushi II and Seaweed IV sired
by Am CH Sunnybrae's Like a Rock, "Chevy"
owned by Jeanette Gould (litter 8/27/04) . We've been
stuck on the names of Seaweed and Sushi and have had
a few other pups with these names but they didn't
quite make the grade for showing. Sushi II won 2 of
her Puppy 6-9 classes in Springfield on April 22-23,
2005. Then she took 3rd place at Yankee Golden Retriever
Club and 1st place at Framingham District Kennel Club
shows in Wrentham on June 4-6, 2005 in the Puppy 9-12
class. Taima followed this summer with her first shows
in Springfield July 6-10 where she took (3) first
place ribbons and (2) second place ribbons. All three
siblings been in field training from March-Augst 2006
at Maranatha Kennels in Buxton, ME where Lauren works.
Seaweed earned 3 legs, Taima only 1 leg because of
her heat cycle while Sushi is still in training.
Tilly has a soon to be famous daughter, Oakley, Goldiva's
Annie Get Your Gun. She will be a Limited Edition
print by the Orvis Company's catalogue available this
fall 2006. She is owned & painted by Karen Killian
of Watermark
Studios in Old Lyme, CT. Karen has other Golden
Retriever cards & prints available thru her website.
