6/22/08 Sushi finishes her AKC Rally O obedience
title. Professionally trained by Maranatha Kennels,
Buxton, Maine. Professionally handled by June Cawood
and Melissa Wood. Show photo will be posted soon.
Sushi II's parents are Am CH Sunnybrae's Like a Rock,
"Chevy" owned by
Jeanette Gould and my Tricon's Sunnybrae Blues "Tilly".
Her siblings are Taima (Goldiva's
Taimin' the Boys) and Seaweed
(Can CH Goldiva's Your Castle or Mine, JH). We've
been stuck on the names of Seaweed and Sushi and have
had a few other pups with these names but they didn't
quite make the grade for showing. Sushi II took 3rd
place at the Yankee Golden Retriever Club show and
1st place at the Framingham District Kennel Club in
Wrentham, MA in June for the 9-12 Puppy class. Further
below, Sushi II won 2 of her Puppy 6-9 classes in
Springfield on April 22-23, 2005.
Sushi, Taima & Seaweed all did their field training
at Maranatha Kennels in Buxton, ME where Lauren worked
before having a baby. They all have a tremendous drive
for prey and games. They're well behaved with excellent
manners. However...Sushi has now decided that she
doesn't like ducks but prefers the bird boy instead!
Sushi lives with a boarding family in Phippsburg
with a special needs daughter. She is very attentive
to the 4 children, loves walks thru the woods and
play with her ball!!
Yankee Golden Retriever Club, 3rd place 9-12 puppy
& 4th place Sweepstakes handled by Mary Dickinson
Wood. Sushi II took 1st place on Sunday, June 5th
professionally handled by Jeanette Gould.

Gould of Sunnybrae Goldens, April 22-23, 2005. Jeanette
owns Sushi's father "Chevy" AM CH Sunnybrae's
Like a Rock.
