Sophie is our first Canadian Champion!! She is off
and running! She is handled by Jeanette Gould in the
AKC shows and by Kathy Hanson & Cyrille Young
in the Canadian shows. She finished her last 2 pts
with Kathy in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. In her first
weekend of shows in Quebec with Cyrille, Sophie came
home with 10 ribbons and 6 points towards her Canadian
Champion title! Sophie's parents are Lady
and Boomer.
Her sisters are Blossom,
JH , Kylee,
JH who also competes in dog shows and hold Junior
Hunt titles, and half sisters Can CH Lola and Luna.
Sophie has a gentle, laid back disposition, with inviting
eyes that pull you in closer. Her coat is soft and
lush. She is a joy to be handled and worked, with
an easy going personality.
Sophie was also featured in the Golden Retriever
Club of America's (GRCA) special issue for Brood Bitches
and Stud Dogs along with our other titled dogs (Mar/Apr
2006, pg 46-47). She was bred to Am CH Nautilus Purple
Passion "Casanova" and had 2 pups. We kept
the little girl, Bella, "Goldiva's I Like to
Move It Move It".
Sophie was bred with Forest
one of our co-owned males. She had 10 pups (6 boys/4
girls) on October 24th and they will be ready for
Christmas. We're now taking deposits.
