Seaweed is a gentle giant within the AKC standard.
His parents are Tilly x Am CH Sunnybrae's Like a Rock,
"Chevy" owned by
Jeanette Gould. Seaweed's siblings are Taima
and Sushi II, half sisters
are Oakley on our Home page and Maybe
(Tilly x Eddie). We've been stuck on the names of
Seaweed and Sushi and have had a few other pups with
these names but they didn't quite make the grade for
showing. All three siblings have been in field training
from March-Augst 2006 at Maranatha
Kennels in Buxton, ME with June and Stephen Cawood.
Seaweed finished his Junior Hunt title on June 23,
2007, Taima earned her 2nd leg while Sushi is beginning
to compete.
Seaweed finished up his Canadian Champion title in
just 2 short weekends in 7 shows, handled by Kathy
Hanson of New Brunswick. This makes our 5th Canadian
Champion! Hopefully we will have 2 more Champions
this month, Kyle & Frosty.
Seaweed is a happy-go-lucky boy, full of enthusiasm,
loves the water, loves to run, loves to work and is
very obedient as well as a laid back personality.
He lives down the road with Tom Coughlin & family
with 2 other dogs and horses in the barnyard. He's
always happy to hop in truck and loves every person
& dog he meets.
